Fascinating! I am continually intrigued by the scanty, yet persuasive evidence linking the Faith in its eastern and southern forms with that of the far west. In an era of such rapid disentegration and widespread apostasy, I find myself drawn increasingly to the antecedents of our faith as Anglicans, whatever the source, and there I find great comfort far removed from those philosophical and cultural presuppositions which seem to lie at the root of our malise.
I too find myself enjoying following the threads of connection between the aboriginal Church of the Isles and the East/Africa.
Once you see the links, you quickly realize that authentic "Celtic" Christianity is really Orthodox, and not the crazy mixed up inventions of 19th & 20th Century church folk.
